Matt Wood
Matt Wood is Principal and Broker of SCOUT RE. He began his career at Allie Beth Allman & Associates, and was later one of the first agents to join Compass in Dallas. In 2020, Matt started a brokerage focused exclusively on lakefront and land properties that quickly became the top selling company at Cedar Creek Lake. After four years of leading a group of 25 agents, he saw an opportunity to renew his work in Dallas as well as expand expertise to Colorado in addition to work around lakes and land in Texas. SCOUT was born as a more focused brand, one built on the pursuit of a lifestyle and experience clients are searching for. At the time of launch, SCOUT has a team of experienced agents positioned in Dallas, Crested Butte, and East Texas (with focus on Lake Athens, Cedar Creek Lake, Lake Palestine, and a dozen smaller lakes). Alison Houpt
Alison, a proud eighth-generation Texan and a fourth-generation Realtor, stands out in the real estate industry with her extensive background in business transactions, alongside her expertise in design and marketing. Known for delivering exceptional service, Alison’s journey in real estate began very early, while in high school at Reunion Title, where she gained invaluable insights into the critical role of meticulously executed contracts. With over a decade of experience in real estate sales, she has established herself as a leading choice for clients. Her education at The University of North Texas, culminating in a BFA in Design and Marketing, further honed her skills. Anne Tudhope
I'm a founding member of the SCOUT Real Estate Team in Dallas, where we cultivate the right relationships and pursue excellence. I have over 30 years of experience as a Neonatal ICU nurse and hospital executive, and I apply my skills of empathy, communication, and problem solving to help my clients find or sell their homes. I have a deep knowledge of Dallas neighborhoods and urban living, and I provide the most up to date information and resources to help my clients make informed decisions. I’m also involved in various community and professional organizations, such as the Hollywood Santa Monica Neighborhood Association, the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Lakewood Women In Business group, and the Chi Omega Alumnae Association. Donna Meredith
Donna is a lifelong resident of Athens and growing up in her family’s business has taught her the importance of hard work, honesty in dealing with people, and knowledge of the area.
Donna earned a BBA in Business from UT Tyler, has served twice as the president of the Athens Rotary Club and is currently serving as president of the Athens Economic Development Board. Donna is married to The Reverend Woody Meredith, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Athens and together they have five daughters and nine grandchildren. Brad Pace
Brad, a Broker Associate and REALTOR specializing in the ever-growing East Texas region, has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Brad spent over 15 years with the national real estate auction firm Hudson & Marshall managing and facilitating real estate auctions across the US and Puerto Rico. In addition to being a licensed broker and auctioneer in Texas, Brad is licensed in many other states including Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada to name a few. As a native of East Texas, Brad has a passion for the outdoors. He has a particular interest and knowledge about our area lakes and farm and ranch properties around Tyler, Lake Palestine, Lake Athens and surrounding areas. Brad finds great joy in helping clients navigate through the, often times, stressful process of buying and selling real estate and provides a level of service for which he aims to exceed all expectations. Grant is a Corporate Communications major at Baylor University, and will be graduating in August 2024. He is poised to serve his peers buying their first home in the Dallas area or between Athens and Tyler.
